Summary
We're seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee the enterprise migration from AEM to Sanity CMS, of one of our largest clients. The role involves technical leadership and expertise in large CMS migrations and modern headless architectures, as well as expectation of individual contribution.

General Information
The project involves replacing the current Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) backend with Sanity, a modern headless CMS. The current team uses Chakra UI, requiring React developers familiar with component-library-based styling. Experience with Sanity's GROQ query language and headless CMS architecture is highly valued.

Tasks and Deliverables
- Lead the migration process from AEM to Sanity CMS, ensuring smooth transition and data integrity.
- Develop and implement backend solutions using Node.js and TypeScript to integrate Sanity.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to adapt React components styled with Chakra UI for the new CMS architecture.
- Configure and deploy the application on AWS clusters, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members throughout the migration project.
- Document migration workflows, architecture decisions, and deployment procedures.

Required Experience
- Required: Proven experience leading large-scale CMS migrations, specifically with Sanity CMS.
- Required: Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript (versions 2 through 5).
- Required: Experience with React and component-library-based styling (e.g., Chakra UI).
- Required: Knowledge of headless CMS architectures and Sanity’s GROQ query language.
- Nice to have: Experience with AWS deployment and cloud infrastructure.
