About Heady and the Role:
Heady is a digital product consultancy that provides full-service strategy, design, full-stack development, and growth marketing services for retail and lifestyle brands — and we do it all with heart. Our team partners with Fortune 500 brands to deliver impactful technology and design solutions.
We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Product Manager to lead a B2C Product Strategy initiative for one of our top retail clients. In this short-term role, you’ll take the driver’s seat in shaping our client’s digital product direction — running discovery, defining the roadmap, and aligning stakeholders on what success looks like.
This project is slated to run from early November through December and requires approximately 20-30 hours/week.
ET hours are required. This is a remote-friendly role. There may be opportunities beyond this contract.
What You’ll Do:
-
Lead stakeholder interviews and user research with UX/Design.
-
Define product goals and connect them to business outcomes.
-
Identify market opportunities and key KPIs for B2C eCommerce.
-
Facilitate feature-prioritization and MVP/post-MVP roadmaps.
-
Conduct user interviews and/or usability testing on existing products.
-
Perform competitive and market analysis.
-
Analyze user data and survey insights to inform recommendations.
-
Lead ideation workshops and write user stories.
-
Define and align success metrics.
-
Recommend strategies for growth funnel and data capture.
Who You Are:
-
5+ years of strategic product management experience.
-
Proven success leading discovery and strategy for web or app products (B2C/eCommerce).
-
Strong communicator with exceptional organizational skills.
-
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
-
Understanding of mobile-app growth and attribution tracking.
-
Prior agency or consulting experience preferred.
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
What You’ll Get:
-
Competitive hourly rate - paid fairly for the value and expertise you bring.
-
The chance to work with a talented global / remote-friendly team.
-
Flexibility - we trust you to manage your time and deliver without micromanagement.
-
Opportunities to grow your skills (and portfolio) by working on interesting, challenging projects that touch multiple areas.
-
A culture of kindness and support - you’ll be respected, heard, and part of a team that celebrates wins together.
